We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dining Service Professional to join our team at Embassy Suites Palm Desert. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take Food and Beverage Orders: Take orders from guests and enter them into our point of service system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that all guests receive their orders in a timely manner and that their dining experience is satisfactory.
  • Set and Clear Tables: Set and clear tables in a clean and efficient manner, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant dining experience.
  • Stock Service Stations: Stock service stations with necessary items, such as ice, napkins, and straws, to ensure that our guests have everything they need.
  • Pick Up Orders: Pick up orders from the kitchen and ensure that they are prepared according to our high standards.
  • Prepare Guest Checks: Prepare guest checks and process payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as requested by management, such as bartending and bussing, to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous Food and Beverage Experience: Previous food and beverage experience is required, or equivalent training.
  • Knowledge of POS Systems: Knowledge of point of service systems is required.
  • TIPS Certification: TIPS certification is preferred.
