Position Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Bridge Project Engineers with a Professional Engineer License to join our team. This role involves overseeing various inspection projects for movable and fixed bridges across New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise on-site project activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor compliance with project specifications and construction schedules, while preparing detailed progress reports.
  • Facilitate optimal performance of construction and engineering personnel, maintaining precise field notes.
  • Review and process monthly contractor invoices for timely payments.
  • Organize and manage all project documentation, including shop drawings and RFIs.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations by contractors.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years of experience in bridge and highway projects.
  • Proficient understanding of construction methods, materials, standards, and specifications related to bridges and highways.
  • Preferred certifications: NICET, ACI, SAT, and Traffic Control.
  • Completion of 10-hour OSHA safety training.
  • Experience with NJDOT and NJTA is advantageous.
  • Strong writing and communication skills are essential.
