Job Title: Registered Dialysis Nurse

Centers Dialysis Care is seeking a skilled Registered Dialysis Nurse to join our team in Airmont, NY. As a dialysis nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our dialysis center.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dialysis Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dialysis care and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient status and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the provider/physician staff
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment and document their responses to treatment requirements
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Mobilize resources to maximize patients' control and participation in their recovery
  • Integrate assessment and diagnostic information to anticipate patients' needs
  • Ensure effective handoff communication and report on patient situations and problems
  • Develop and implement staffing plans to meet patient needs
  • Provide unique and individualized comfort measures using evidence-based practice
  • Participate in performance improvement activities at the unit level
Requirements:
  • Active NY RN License
  • CPR Certification
  • Clinical nursing experience in a dialysis setting is preferred
