Responsibilities- Medication Management: Prepare and dispense medication to patients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Patient Assessment: Assess the clinical status of patients, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Drug Information: Provide accurate and timely drug information to the medical team, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions.
- Current Licensure: Hold current, unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure.
- Experience: Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Education: Possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Communication: Possess effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues and exchange information with the healthcare team.
- Computer Literacy: Demonstrate knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware, software, and applications.
- Social Perceptiveness: Show empathy and understanding towards patients and caregivers, with a non-judgmental attitude towards diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
- Team Building: Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team, maintaining constructive relationships and adapting to changing situations.
