NMR0032- Pharmacist - Newport ,RI - 14 Weeks Contract Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Pharmacist to work onsite at our client's healthcare facility in NewportShift: 8hr Daysduties that apply to all personnel or across certain labor categories are given below.education, training, experience, clinical privileges (as applicable), and assigned position. General Contractor personnel shall perform a full range of duties consistent with their labor category,Core Duties: Maintain a level of productivity comparable with that of other individuals performing similar services. Participate in peer review and performance improvement activities as requested by the Government. Practice aseptic techniques as necessary. Comply with infection control guidelines to include the proper handling, storage, and disposal of infectious wastes, and the use of universal precautions to prevent the spread of infection. Function with an awareness and application of safety procedures. Perform efficiently in emergency patient situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events. Anticipate potential problems/emergencies and make appropriate interventions. Notify supervisor, director, or other designated government person regarding problems that the HCW is unable to manage. Apply an awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and strive to manage situations in a reduced risk manner. Participate in the implementation of the Family Advocacy Program as directed. Participation shall include, but not be limited to, appropriate medical examination, documentation, and reporting. Exercise awareness and sensitivity to patient/significant others' rights, as identified within the MTF. Maintain an awareness of responsibility and accountability for own professional practice. Minimum Qualifications: Degree: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). Internship/Residency: Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy or documentation of appropriate education, training, and/or CME in the practice of clinical pharmacy. Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support (5.2.3): N/A Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in theService-specific credentialing instructions.o Possess one (1) year of full-time experience in the last three (3) years as a clinical pharmacist in an ambulatory care setting OR Completed an ASHP accredited Ambulatory Care Residency OR Possess Board Certification as aPharmacotherapy Specialist. Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist.
