Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Management Specialist to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining knowledge management systems that support our IC customer in Bethesda, MD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Knowledge Management Systems: Design, implement, and maintain knowledge management systems, including SharePoint sites, databases, and internal websites, to store, share, and utilize data.
  • Advise on KM Tools: Provide expert advice to the Government on the best utilization of knowledge management tools to enhance information sharing and collaboration.
  • Train System Users: Train users on the knowledge management systems, including IC partners, and provide user guides as needed.
  • Integrate Information: Integrate information with other databases, as required, to ensure seamless data sharing and collaboration.
  • Utilize Automated Tools: Utilize automated tools and visualizations to facilitate users' access and ability to analyze information holdings.
  • Employ Specific Tools: Employ specific tools for unique office needs, as required, including interoperability with or ability to share information with other IC or state and local partners.
  • Create Virtual Communities: Create and maintain virtual communities of interest to enable ODNI and its partners to collaborate, store, search, and discover information.
  • Develop Simulations: Develop simulations and exercises to test database readiness and communication channels.
  • Maintain Customer-Wide Repository: Maintain and update a customer-wide repository for instructions, Internal Process Documents (IPDs), and policy memorandum.
  • Build Data Repositories: Build data repositories for a variety of mission needs that easily and automatically generate a variety of visualizations to support analysis, reporting, and briefings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in knowledge management or a related field.
  • Clearance: Top Secret/Secret Clearance with Polygraph level clearance.
  • Skills: Experience with knowledge management processes and methodologies, including organizational studies and evaluations, system design and procedures, work simplification and measurement studies.
  • Software: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and experience with Content Management Systems such as Joomla, WordPress, and SharePoint.
Desired Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including preparing operations and procedures manuals.
  • Process-Oriented Organizational Skills: Excellent process-oriented organizational skills to ensure well-organized repository and pipeline of content for review and upload.
  • Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated open communication and effective collaboration with team members and supervisors to enable continuous performance improvement.
