Database Systems Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned SQL Server DBA with expertise in managing MS SQL Server environments, including DB VM servers. A certification in SQL Server DBA is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of experience and a 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing Microsoft SQL Server Database environments, ensuring best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance, and capacity planning. They will work closely with the DBA ITM1 team to ensure that team goals and metrics are met.
- Providing DBA support for distributed servers in a multi-datacenter environment
- Maintaining complex SQL environment performance, analyzing technical problems, and implementing approved solutions using established tools and techniques
- Coordinating with network, IIS administrators, and storage groups for SQL server-based configurations
