Job Description

Position Overview

The Weatherhead Scholars Program at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University invites applications for visiting scholars to join its annual cohort of 20-25 members. This one-year research position aims to support visiting faculty and facilitate research in the social sciences on international, comparative, transnational, and global issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in the social sciences on international, comparative, transnational, and global issues
  • Participate in the weekly Weatherhead Scholars Seminar
  • Have shared office space at 61 Kirkland St
  • Audit a course and/or participate in research clusters and seminars across the university
  • Request an undergraduate research assistant

Qualifications

  • Hold a PhD in economics, sociology, anthropology, history, International affairs, conflict analysis and resolution, psychology, public policy, political science, environmental science, or related fields
  • Hold a full-time permanent position
