About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Morehouse School of Medicine. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting radiologists and physicians with diagnosing and treating disease and injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, taking high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and take X-rays of specific body parts as requested by physicians.
  • Develop and process digital images, checking for clarity and quality.
  • Perform quantity and quality control checks to ensure X-ray units meet standards.
  • Communicate patient needs and responses through verbal and written correspondence.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in radiological technology from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a medical practice environment.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration and CPR certification required.
  • Current Radiologic Technologist certificate or license.
