Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will:
- Perform emergency procedures related to catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
- Exhibit accountability in identifying patient issues, collecting accurate data, and participating in patient care.
- Prioritize resources effectively based on patient information and staff capabilities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, including conditions such as coronary artery disease and relevant treatment therapies.
- Assist in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status, documenting findings and reporting any abnormalities to the physician.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- One year of experience as an LPN with a Critical Care course completed within one year of hire, or one year of experience in a Cath Lab, or one year of RCIS or CVT experience, or be a graduate of an accredited RCVT program.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
