Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer, AI Platform

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Robotics Team at NVIDIA. As a pioneer in visual computing, we have revolutionized the field with our invention of the GPU. Our team is building a cutting-edge robotics platform that combines high-fidelity visual and physical simulation, a high-quality development platform, and hundreds of optimized algorithms for computer vision and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crafting and developing high-quality user interfaces for our AI platform using HTML5, CSS/LESS, NodeJS, and React.
  • Collaborating with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Integrating frontend with service APIs for a seamless browser experience for all users.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintaining a consistent look and feel across the platform.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development and implementing them when appropriate.
  • Debugging and optimizing the performance of UI/UX across multiple platforms.
  • Overseeing integration, testing, deployment, and quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, CORS, and modern authentication mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
  • Experience with frontend development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, Vite, and NextJS.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and design solutions to mitigate them.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to varying roles and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive base salary range: $132,000 - $258,750.
