About the 4 Pavilion Medicine & Cardiology UnitThe 4 Pavilion Medicine & Cardiology Unit is a dynamic and supportive team-oriented environment. Our focus is on cardiac management and procedures, including PTCA, pacemaker insertion, and AICD insertion. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Responsibilities- Developing Others: Passionately precept students, graduate nurses, and new hires. Analyzes clinical and behavioral situations to identify learning opportunities. Seeks feedback and applies continuous professional improvement.
- Patient Care: Applies the nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment. Formulates daily goals and care plans with patients as partners. Practices solid communication skills to articulate patient conditions and recommend care changes.
- Workplace Relationships: Builds and mends relationships among colleagues within a healthy workplace framework. Role models cultural awareness and addresses horizontal violence and impairment.
- Quality Improvement: Identifies opportunities for clinical quality and workplace improvement. Applies evidence-based practice regularly. Serves on or leads teams that innovate in patient care or support a healthy workforce.
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
- BSN preferred.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and interact appropriately with patients of all ages.
- Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret information to identify age-specific needs.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families.
- Generous Sign-On Bonus of up to $20,000.
