Heavy Duty Equipment Repair Specialist

The role of a Senior Fleet Mechanic at US Foods, Inc. involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment such as tractors and trailers. To excel in this position, you should have significant hands-on experience with diesel mechanics, a valid Class-A CDL license, and strong analytical and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe work environment while adhering to EPA and OSHA regulations. In this fast-paced environment, you will need to manage multiple functions simultaneously with minimal supervision.
We are looking for a skilled mechanic who can adapt to changing organizational and operational needs. As a Senior Fleet Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including transmissions, tires, and clutches. You will also be required to climb ladders and lift gates, bend, and twist on occasion.
This role offers a competitive salary, ranging from $22 to $38 per hour, depending on relevant experience and education.
