Job Description:

This is a full-time position requiring a reliable and skilled Freight Transport Specialist to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and timely manner according to assigned delivery routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick up empty containers and barrels from customer locations
  • Make deliveries to each location based on the farmer's recommendation
  • Collect payments from cash-on-delivery accounts
  • Acknowledge and report any driving infractions as per company policies
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition by following maintenance schedules
Requirements:Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. While previous driving experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. A valid Class A or B CDL license is necessary, along with a minimum of 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience or successful completion of an FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training certified driving school.

Skills and Qualifications:

Candidates must possess strong technical and professional skills, including business judgment and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with standard agricultural practices is advantageous but not mandatory. Applicants must also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
