Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of all machinery and facilities at our Wood Dale, IL location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hands-on maintenance and facilities management, as well as experience leading a team of maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment and facilities
  • Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in maintenance activities
Requirements:
  • Minimally 10+ years experience in hands-on maintenance and facilities in addition to oversight or leading of a maintenance team
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager, preferably in manufacturing
  • Blend of electromechanical aptitude with hands-on experience - not just oversight
  • Well-rounded engineering background
