Nurse - Obstetrics and Gynecology

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and contributing to the overall quality of nursing care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Stay current with best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license required.
- CPR certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
- Competent in a Windows-based computer system and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
