Job Summary

The Server provides exceptional food and beverage service to residents and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and assist with seating and menu selection
  • Communicate specials and promotions, and answer questions about the menu
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
  • Assemble and serve meals, and remove soiled dishes
  • Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks
  • Verify accuracy of bills and handle cash, credit card, and resident charges
  • Keep assigned tables, dining room, and bus station clean and tidy
  • Advises supervisor of complaints and performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in restaurant or customer service role preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present information to management, customers, and staff
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities, with ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary restrictions and allergies
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with ability to think critically and solve problems
