Role Summary:
In the capacity of Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing critical projects, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to budgetary constraints and project specifications.
Your role will involve collaboration with a skilled team of geotechnical engineers and cross-departmental cooperation to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Duties:
Project Oversight:
Manage geotechnical projects from initial planning through to completion, including aspects such as budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
Client Engagement:
Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are met and satisfaction is achieved.
Technical Guidance:
Offer expert knowledge in geotechnical engineering, encompassing site assessments, analytical processes, design, and construction support.
Quality Control:
Guarantee that all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality assurance protocols.
Business Growth:
Assist in business development initiatives, including proposal creation, client presentations, and networking to uncover new project opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree is advantageous.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required or must be obtained.
- Demonstrated success in managing intricate geotechnical projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively within a team and manage various priorities.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
- Familiarity with local and federal regulations and industry standards.
