Landing Gear Hydraulic Systems Technician

TAT Technologies is seeking skilled Aircraft Landing Gear Technicians to join our dedicated team. The responsibilities of these technicians include:

  • Disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, repairing, assembling, testing, and painting various LRUs, components, parts, and tools.
  • Maintaining equipment pertinent to the operational area.
  • Adhering to and comprehending work instructions.
  • Generating precise technical reports as required.
  • Working autonomously as well as collaboratively within teams.
  • Completing work orders, BOMs, and data entries accurately within the ERP system.
  • Interpreting and understanding Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, and ISO documentation.
  • Utilizing appropriate tools effectively.
  • Practicing safe and efficient tool usage.
  • Providing mentorship and training to fellow personnel.
  • Reporting any safety, quality, or ethical concerns to supervisors for prompt resolution.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors in a professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical training in mechanical or machinist disciplines is advantageous.
  • Preferred experience of at least 2 years in a related field.
  • Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Ability to integrate well with the existing workforce to foster a productive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quantum is preferred.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
  • Capability to make informed decisions and manage deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, for effective interaction with colleagues and management.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
