We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that take into account the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and share knowledge and expertise.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Mental Health Counseling (MHC) from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards.
- Passion for working with diverse populations and commitment to delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care.
- Competitive salary range: $71,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
