We currently have an opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer. We seek a committed individual who excels in demanding settings. Our Quality Assurance department emphasizes process management, performance metrics, testing oversight, and hardware inspection and verification. In this role, you will oversee program and site-level quality assurance activities. This is a full-time, exempt position without supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support QA efforts for the development and manufacturing of lidar products.
  • Evaluate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to deliver timely and constructive feedback.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of deliverable hardware production.
  • Investigate non-conforming hardware and software issues, facilitating root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, including non-conformances, bug reports, and corrective action activities.
  • Oversee regression testing and product acceptance testing.
  • Review quarterly supplier performance data.
  • Assist in processing incoming materials for production builds.
  • Provide quality assurance reports and inspection data to senior management.
  • Participate in all QA meetings.
  • Equip program managers and engineers with essential data for informed decision-making.
  • Create and document inspection plans for incoming materials and in-process assemblies.
  • Facilitate program-level MRB meetings to resolve quality issues using the TipQA Database.

Preferred Experience and Background
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance.
  • 4+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven capability to understand and represent technical product specifications.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a TS security clearance.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Understanding of QA processes for software development, debugging, and release.
The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000, with considerations for various factors including responsibilities, work experience, education, and key skills.

Additional Requirements

U.S. citizenship is necessary for eligibility.
