MIG Welder
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise cuts and welds on steel piping using advanced welding equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Measure and plan layouts for welding projects.
- Set up welding machinery according to project specifications.
- Perform welding operations using semi-automatic equipment in various positions.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and efficient working condition.
- Conduct quality tests on all welds to ensure compliance with standards.
- Address any leaks identified during quality penetration tests through manual welding.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
- Pipe welding certifications are advantageous.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Consistent attendance and a positive attitude are critical for success in this role.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work on Saturdays as required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are necessary.
- Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and walk for extended periods.
- Must pass a drug screening.
