MRI Imaging Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ball Memorial Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures in a timely and efficient manner, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.
Key Responsibilities
- Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment, and positions patients correctly to record diagnostic images.
- Treats patients with care and respect, providing a safe and comfortable environment for each patient.
- Basic Life Support certification is required, and Advanced Life Support certification may be required depending on the situation.
- Requires certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 12 months of hire.
Requirements
- Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the patient's condition does not permit routine positioning.
- Preferred experience in MRI.
