Job Summary

This position is located at Fort Eisenhower and offers a flexible schedule with a guarantee of 15 hours per week. As a non-benefited position, proof of education is required at the time of application. Benefits for Employees: 50% discount for the first child enrolled in a full-time or part-time program, and 15% discount for additional children. Access to the Commissary, PX, Aafes, MWR activities, pool, Points West Resort, Tactical Sportsman Complex, and Gym.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as a Child and Youth Program Assistant in a Child and Youth Services program, ensuring the safety and whereabouts of children and youth.
  • Plans, coordinates, and conducts activities to meet the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of program participants.
  • Establishes a program environment that promotes positive interactions among children, youth, and adults.
  • Helps prepare and maintain indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials.
  • Maintains program participation data and completes daily reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required for entry-level positions.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
