We are seeking a skilled Faux Painter to join our team at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. As a Faux Painter, you will be responsible for identifying, repairing, and painting walls, items, and other structures that require a paint and/or faux finish or faux finish touch-ups.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and apply paints to restore items and structures to a like-new condition.
- Inspect and repair wall surfaces using the appropriate materials.
- Assist with ordering supplies and materials for the paint shop.
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper for protection during painting.
- Clean up and store or dispose of paint and painting tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors to modify paint colors and consistencies.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Experience with painting and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of paint and material safety procedures.
