Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial operations and ensure adherence to GAAP standards, implementing automation solutions where feasible (including invoicing and billing processes).
  • Deliver comprehensive GAAP financial reports to executive leadership, board members, and financial institutions.
  • Direct the financial planning and budgeting initiatives.
  • Guarantee compliance with all regulatory, tax, and banking requirements.
  • Assist the business development team with pricing strategies and proposal estimates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years in accounting and financial oversight, ideally within life sciences, healthcare, laboratory environments, or startup contexts.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a controllership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; CPA designation is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in key areas: financial reporting, management accounting, payroll, taxation, and budget management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling), QuickBooks Online, and various financial management software.
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive mindset and capability to work independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial billing processes is advantageous.
  • Experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions through financial modeling is a plus.
