OVERVIEW:

  • Facilitates the delivery of subject content to learners, employing various instructional methods including lectures, discussions, and guided role-playing.

  • Provides assistance to students, both individually and in groups, with assignments to reinforce learning objectives.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • At least two years of post-secondary education (48 credit hours) or an associate's degree, or successful completion of WorkKeys Level 3 assessment.
LANGUAGE ABILITIES:
  • Capability to read and understand simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. Proficient in writing basic correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information in individual and small group settings.
MATH SKILLS:
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Competence in calculating rates, ratios, and percentages.
REASONING SKILLS:
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning to execute detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions. Capacity to address issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. The employee frequently stands and walks. Occasionally, the employee may sit, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, manipulate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
  • The employee may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions for brief periods.
