Introduction

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Postpartum, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of postpartum patients
  • Assisting in newborn care
  • Instructing patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • Maintaining and reviewing patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
  • Administering medications in accordance with physician orders
  • Assuming leadership responsibility for your nursing team during your designated shift
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Florida Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
  • A nursing diploma or ASN degree; BSN preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire or transfer
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting, preferred
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
