Compensation: $18.00 per hour

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic individual.

Available Shifts:

  • Sunday and Monday: Emergency Department close. 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM. Must be able to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Wednesday - Friday: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM or 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Manual transmission driving skills required.
  • Weekdays: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Manual transmission experience preferred but not mandatory.

We offer a flexible permanent schedule tailored to your availability.

Experience Requirements: Previous customer service experience is essential, while prior parking experience is preferred.

Driving Qualifications: A clean driving record is necessary to pass the MVR check, and the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is required for most roles.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Valet Attendant, your primary duties will include:

  • Arriving at work punctually for every scheduled shift.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to uniform standards.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections before taking possession and documenting findings.
  • Communicating valet rates to customers.
  • Reporting any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to supervisors.
  • Possessing thorough knowledge of local streets and landmarks to assist customers with directions.
  • Responding to customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Observing all traffic laws and practicing safe driving.
  • Assisting supervisors and managers with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education/Experience: Less than a high school education or one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior valet driving experience is advantageous.

License Requirement: A valid state driver's license with an updated address and acceptable driving record is required. Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.

Work Availability: Shift requirements may vary based on location needs, including potential availability for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends.

Language Proficiency: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing basic correspondence and effectively presenting information in one-on-one situations.

Customer Service Skills: Ability to positively address customer issues or complaints.

Mathematical Skills: Competence in basic arithmetic operations using American currency.

Appearance Standards: Employees must maintain a neat and clean appearance and remain in uniform at all times.

Other Attributes: Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changes in the work environment.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle cash and equipment. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
