Job Summary

Peachtree Packaging & Display is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial processes and procedures, providing valuable analysis to drive positive company performance, and reporting directly to the Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Accounting:
    • Prepare and review journal entries, month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting and analysis.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Process billing, receipts application, customer file maintenance, and customer collections.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Process supplier invoice processing and file maintenance, disbursements – ACH and check, expense reimbursement tracking, and AMEX reconciliation.
  • Payroll Accounting:
    • Prepare payroll journal entries, manage Namely report management, and process 401k funding requests.
  • Fixed Assets Accounting:
    • Manage asset management, depreciation, fleet management, and gas card JE's.
  • Other Duties as Needed/Assigned
Requirements
  • One (1) year of experience as a Staff Accountant.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel and Teams.
  • Ability to apply logic and problem-solve.
  • Effective time management.
  • Reliable and trustworthy team-player with a positive attitude.
