Job Title: Unit Dose Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Unit Dose Mechanic to join our team at Church & Dwight. As a key member of our packaging department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting high-speed packaging and batching equipment to ensure maximum production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair high-speed packaging and batching equipment to meet or exceed manufacturing specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all packaging equipment.
  • Fabricate stock parts as needed and repair/rebuild motors, brakes, and pumps.
  • Track electrical problems and perform machine changeovers and setups.
  • Assist in meeting high-quality standards and production quotas in the Unit Dose Department.
  • Work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed, and perform unit dose operator duties if required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years of mechanical experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical background.
  • Basic proficiency in welding and machining.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
