DCS Corp is seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer to assist in overseeing an Army Project Manager's initiatives, ensuring effective product engineering and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative for the Director of Systems Engineering and Cybersecurity in various internal and external discussions.
  • Analyze systems engineering acquisition documents, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), and System Requirements Documents (SRDs).
  • Contribute to the development of reference architectures and facilitate meetings to support this initiative, stepping in for the Architecture lead when necessary.
  • Assess the completeness of technical reviews and documentation, providing constructive feedback on Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Variances (RFVs), System Requirements Reviews (SRRs), and other critical design reviews.
  • Offer guidance and oversight for the established risk management processes, participating in product-level risk meetings and coordinating high-level Risk Management Boards.
  • Support technical directors and product teams as needed, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Engage in weekly systems engineering meetings to foster collaboration and communication.
  • Review and provide insights on systems engineering documentation to enhance product lines.
  • Evaluate ECPs and RFVs to identify requirements and associated risks.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of customer requirements.
  • A Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • A Secret level security clearance is necessary.
