Medical Imaging Supervisor

About the Role
The Ultrasound Supervisor will provide clinical, organizational, and leadership support to our fast-paced multimodality radiology practice with multiple locations. As a technical expert in US, this individual will facilitate workflow by acting as a clinical liaison between all modalities, radiologists, and front desk staff to maximize clinical services on a daily basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly technologist schedules to coordinate with current hours of operations and optimize workflow.
- Communicate daily department staffing issues and adjustments.
- Perform clinical exams as needed in the chosen modality.
- Coordinate and approve add-on 'STAT' exams to maximize workflow within the department.
- Assist the Radiology Manager in developing clinical protocols for use throughout the practice.
- Lead contact in preparing and submitting ACR accreditations in chosen modalities.
- Independently resolve issues and coordinate appropriate departmental resources when needed to facilitate workflow.
Requirements
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, business administration, or a related field. Additionally, AART certification/licensure, 3+ years of experience as a technologist, and three years of supervisory experience are necessary. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of standard policies, procedures, and protocols, and the ability to function independently in administrative aspects of the standard office-operating environment.
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers comprehensive benefits, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and a 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
