Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service:
- Ensure that all products meet our high quality standards and guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a role model for customer-first behaviors according to company standards.

- Handle difficult customer situations professionally.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

- Supervisory:

- Conduct or delegate opening and closing responsibilities.
- Sales:
- Direct and manage store sales efforts, which may include Hot Light times, retail sales, fundraising, and suggestive selling.
- Achieve business plan objectives and profitability according to store operating plan and established financial goals.
- Production:
- Understand and implement procedures to maximize efficiencies and control variances in daily production of product and overall store performance.
- Understand the production process and maintain a schedule that guarantees high quality and output.
- Understand and implement store quality control procedures.
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and to minimize labor hours.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and assess any production or equipment problems.
- Safety and Sanitation:
- Demonstrate safety consciousness and promote store safety, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a high level of store sanitation and cleanliness, including adhering to cleaning schedules and training employees.
- Equipment:
- Oversee the proper upkeep of store facility and equipment.
- Personnel:
- Direct and develop employees, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, safety education, supervising, dispute resolution, and firing.
- Build a team of customer-focused employees and foster teamwork.
- Demonstrate leadership in employee development.
- Communicate to store employees and enforce all store policies, standards, and practices.
- Schedule employees to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Conduct performance reviews with employees.
- Accounting:
- Ensure maximum profitability and sales growth in all store functions.
- Manage income and expense budgets, including accounts payable/receivable, profit and loss, and inventory control.
- Complete required corporate reporting documentation, both financial and operational.
- Manage company resources responsibly, including inventory control.
- Manage financial duties, including deposits, collecting accounts receivable, and properly documenting all transactions.
- Protect company assets.
- Maintain a resourceful budget and control all costs and expenses.
- Manage financial duties, including payroll and cash handling procedures.
- Accounting tasks, including counting and depositing revenues.
- Leadership:
- Communicate and model company standards and policies.
- Implement efficiently and effectively directives from store, corporate, and divisional management.
- Develop and maintain store organization to promote efficient operations.
- Interface with corporate office personnel.
Requirements:
- High school or GED required.
- Complete Krispy Kreme GM Development course.
- Must perform all related competencies outlined in the Krispy Kreme Shift Management & Store Management Training Workbooks.
- Experience with sales, management, production, and customer service.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Pleasant disposition, sociable, accommodating nature, and enthusiasm.
- Self-motivation, creativity, and adaptability.
- Basic computer, telephone, and fax knowledge.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must meet Krispy Kreme driving standards (three year clean driving record).
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Education strongly preferred.
