Key Responsibilities- Provide medical treatment to patients and chart all patient interactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Communicate and work with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high-quality medical treatment and client services.
- Comply with ethical, legal, and professional guidelines, as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
- Participate in implementing special medical projects and services, such as on-site services, and contribute solutions to intra- and inter-departmental problems.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from a U.S. accredited institution or equivalent licensing required to practice medicine in the U.S.
- Previous experience in General Practice preferred, with EMR experience, bilingual, and computer literate skills.
- Current license to practice medicine in the State.
- Knowledge of professional medical practices related to treatment, organizational and medical policies, regulations, and procedures, as well as medical equipment and instruments.
- Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations, communicate clearly with patients, staff, and clients, and possess good telephone manners and etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills, orientation to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and work effectively with others.
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds, push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force, stand or sit for extended periods of time, and use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery.
- Occasional exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids, and ability to discriminate shades of color when reading a dipstick.
