About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Veterinary Scribe to join our team. As a Veterinary Scribe, you'll play a critical role in the medical process by building accurate and comprehensive medical records for each patient. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in emergency veterinary medicine, while developing valuable skills that will serve you well in your future career.

Responsibilities

• Compose electronic medical records with precision and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively with the medical team to ensure seamless care
• Maintain professionalism and a high level of work ethic in a fast-paced environment
• Assist doctors with non-clinical duties and submit lab work in a timely manner
• Write clearly and concisely, with the ability to type quickly and accurately
• Work effectively in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

Requirements

• Friendly and driven undergraduate or postgraduate student with an interest in veterinary medicine
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Detail-oriented and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to commute to the hospital (this is not a remote position)
