Job Summary:

The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and verification of electronic circuits for medical devices. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of PCBA design packages that meet manufacturability and yield requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic circuits for medical devices, including schematic capture, layout techniques, and mathematical modeling.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to deliver PCBA design packages that meet manufacturability and yield requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of PCBA design packages.
• Perform bench-level testing and verification of electronic circuits.
• Document design requirements, design analysis, and design descriptions.

Requirements:

• B.S. and 5+ years of experience or M.S. and 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• 3+ years' experience designing digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Schematic capture experience.
• PCB implementation, including performing and/or overseeing layout and generating PCBA build files.
• Board-level debug and diagnosis using oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, and other bench test equipment.
• Experience in Board-level design verification.
• Experience in digital and analog circuit modeling.
• Design for manufacturing/manufacturability experience.
• Experience in design documentation, including design requirements, design analysis, and design descriptions.
