We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our team as a tenure-track professor in finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in finance, as well as contributing to the development of our finance program.
Responsibilities- Teach finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including corporate finance, investments, and financial planning
- Develop and maintain a research agenda in finance, with a focus on publishing in top-tier academic journals
- Mentor and advise students, including those pursuing internships and research projects
- Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional development activities
- PhD in finance or a related field, or a master's degree in finance with significant industry experience
- Strong teaching and research skills, with a demonstrated ability to publish in top-tier academic journals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners
- Commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of faith and learning in the classroom
- Experience teaching finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Strong networks among finance professionals and industry partners
- Ability to develop and maintain a research agenda in finance, with a focus on publishing in top-tier academic journals
- Experience mentoring and advising students, including those pursuing internships and research projects
