Physical Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist II to join our team at The University of Chicago Medicine. As an Orthopedic Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced physical therapy services and consultations to patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients using advanced tests and measurements to determine physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans.
- Provide specialized physical therapy techniques and procedures to patients with complex problems, including co-morbidities and poor previous outcomes.
- Consult with staff and referring practitioners on difficult cases and provide training to other staff and students.
- Document patient progress and procedures performed, and maintain accurate records.
- Instruct patients and families in home programs and demonstrate effective time management skills.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or DPT degree or equivalent training in another country.
- Current physical therapy license in the State of Illinois.
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 2 years of orthopedic clinical experience.
