Ambulatory Pediatrician

We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pediatrician to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. This is a full-time faculty position in our community-based clinic, providing clinical care in the ambulatory service line and participating in the supervision and education of residents and medical students.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the outpatient clinic, maintaining a panel of primary patients
- Participate in quality improvement and research activities to improve clinical care, efficiency, and patient safety
- Participate in advocacy activities to promote the welfare of patients
- Participate in curriculum development for the ambulatory rotation following ACGME standards
- Participate in didactic activities for residents on outpatient topics
- Participate in the direct supervision and education of residents in the outpatient clinic
- Participate in the direct supervision and education of medical students on pediatric outpatient clerkship
- Participate in the evaluation of residents and medical students
- MD/DO Degree from an ACGME accredited program
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas
- Board eligible or certified in Pediatrics
- Previous experience in teaching in an academic setting
- Previous experience managing a full patient schedule in an outpatient setting
- Proficiency performing circumcisions
