Job Title: Sleep Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Medicine Specialist to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a key member of our pediatric pulmonology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of sleep medicine.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to blend community-based practice with tertiary care expertise, working with a talented team of pediatricians, nurses, and allied health professionals. You will have the chance to develop and lead scholarly projects, mentor residents and learners, and contribute to the growth of our pediatric sleep program.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and sleep studies for infants, children, and adolescents
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, critical care, and ambulatory teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes
  • Develop and lead scholarly projects, mentor residents and learners, and contribute to program growth
Requirements:
  • MD/DO degree and licensure to practice medicine in Kansas
  • Board eligible or certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Sleep Medicine
  • Previous experience teaching in an academic setting
