We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Outreach Specialist Recruiter to join our team at the Center for Employment Training. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach and recruitment plans to meet enrollment goals, establishing and maintaining relationships with community groups and organizations, and promoting CET's job training programs to prospective students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement outreach and recruitment plans to meet enrollment goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community groups and organizations to identify potential students.
- Attend community events and job fairs to promote CET's job training programs.
- Utilize social media and other digital tools to reach potential students.
- Carry out communications, marketing, and outreach related duties as necessary.
- Strategically canvass and visit sites in the community where potential CET students congregate.
- Conduct outreach and community presentations, recruitment activities/events on campus or off campus at referral partner organizations or events.
- Connect potential students with multiple barriers with a skill training that will lead to gainful employment.
- Identify outside resources, programs and other services for potential students if needed.
- Maintain open communication with potential students, parents, teachers, the community and the Admissions team.
- Maintain knowledge of the occupations/career paths related to the programs offered.
- Provide motivational support to students during the admissions process.
- Provide general information on program eligibility and other entrance requirements.
- Work under the direction of the Center Director to ensure enrollment goals are met.
- Ensure data entry, documentation, tracking, follow-up and reporting are completed in a timely manner.
- Associates degree or higher in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working with persons of diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.
