Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and re-assessments to set objectives and determine patient eligibility for therapy, utilizing both standardized tests and clinical observations.
- Overseeing and mentoring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
- Collaborating with clients and their families to develop and execute personalized goals with specific, targeted, and measurable outcomes.
- Delivering direct care in partnership with clients and families to plan, implement, and assess therapeutic interventions.
- Ensuring clients receive high-quality and efficient care.
- Applying research to develop and implement evidence-based practices.
- Engaging in problem-solving with interdisciplinary team members (including Speech Therapy).
- Documenting workload metrics in accordance with Medicaid regulations.
- Preparing and maintaining reports in an electronic health record system as required.

Qualifications: A valid Texas Occupational Therapy license, a degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate), and successful completion of the NBCOT examination.
