As a Lifeguarding Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our members and guests by providing vigilant surveillance and preventive lifeguarding services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a safe and clean aquatics center
- Perform assigned cleaning duties and tasks based on daily activities
- Model positive rapport with patrons and maintain respectful communication
- Arrive on time for assigned shifts or secure coverage
- Remain calm and composed in stressful and emergency situations
- Maintain regular communication with supervisory team
- Interact with diverse groups through various situations
- Maintain focused vigilance throughout shifts
- Use independent judgment and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity
Requirements:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- Completion of Penn State Bloodborne Pathogens training
- Criminal and FBI background checks
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
