Automotive Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Compliance Specialist to join our team at Parsons Commercial Technology Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety and emissions inspection station compliance by performing station audits and observing/reporting on station compliance within state and federal inspection regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform station audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Observe and report on station compliance, including identifying and addressing any non-compliance issues
- Self-manage a set number of station audits for the Lackawanna and Luzerne County areas
- Appoint and cancel stations from the program as needed
- Conduct thorough investigations on station activities and respond to consumer complaints
- Testify in Departmental hearings as required
- Strong computer background and ability to effectively work with office equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training
- Understanding of mechanical components and ability to read and understand state and government regulations
- Effective communication skills, including speaking with the public and accurately documenting station violations
- Able to complete and maintain a Safety Inspection Mechanic Certification and Certified Emission Inspector Certification
