Engineering Director

Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks an experienced Engineering Director to oversee the management and execution of building utility systems, building infrastructure, interiors, and non-medical equipment repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversight of day-to-day operations and management of the Utility Systems Management Plan, Fire Safety Management Plan, Statement of Conditions, and computerized maintenance management system.
- Administration of the computerized maintenance management system to ensure requests are acted upon and corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Collaboration with leaders across the organization to assist in day-to-day activities, projects, and events.
- Masters degree in engineering or a related field, OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of associated engineering experience (i.e. facility management; operations and maintenance; clinical engineering; safety and security; planning, design, and construction; or environmental management), preferably in a healthcare setting.
- 5+ years of management/supervisory/administrative experience.
- Certification in Healthcare Facilities Management (CHFM).
- Licensure at a Master level or certification in a building trade.
- Valid Vermont Driver's license.
$73,500 - $117,500 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
