The Senior Ecommerce Merchandiser plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer journey and driving revenue growth through a compelling front-end content and merchandising strategy. This position involves the daily management of website content, execution of merchandising initiatives, and enhancements to user experience. Job Purpose:

A successful Senior Ecommerce Merchandiser is focused on enhancing the customer experience and driving revenue growth through effective content and merchandising strategies. Responsibilities include managing site content, executing merchandising initiatives, and improving user experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a knack for creating engaging product stories that drive sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and execute content and digital merchandising strategies to deliver an engaging consumer experience that improves conversion rates and profitability.
  • Oversee brand content and merchandising to support product launches and creative initiatives.
  • Lead merchandising strategies on the site, including campaign visual merchandising and managing seasonal catalog launches.
  • Monitor site navigation and product categories to enhance browsing and purchasing behaviors.
  • Curate product assortments that align with customer preferences and marketing strategies.
  • Manage homepage and landing page content in collaboration with the Graphic Design team.
  • Utilize analytics and competitive insights to drive brand advocacy and consumer engagement.
  • Optimize on-site search and reporting to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Implement A/B testing and develop personalization strategies to improve site conversion.
  • Ensure alignment of content and merchandising strategies with omnichannel initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Buying and Marketing teams to stay informed on product assortments and promotions.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and recommend solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ecommerce or retail.
  • Understanding of apparel retailing and the digital landscape.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate accountability.
