Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at Methodist North Hospital. As a Travel Medical Dosimetrist, you will be responsible for providing medical dosimetry services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical dosimetry services to patients, including treatment planning and delivery.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and safety of treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical dosimetry techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or a related field.
  • Current certification in Medical Dosimetry (CMD).
  • At least 3 years of experience in clinical medical dosimetry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AHA or ARC certification.
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of radiation oncology and medical dosimetry principles and practices.
