We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Lender to join our team at Addition Financial. As a Commercial Lender, you will play a critical role in developing new lending and deposit relationships, managing an assigned commercial loan portfolio, and providing exceptional customer service to our members.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Loan Origination: Meet or exceed specific loan and deposit goals by converting self-sourced, qualified prospects into closed deals through consistently ethical business practices.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships by clearly communicating expectations regarding the full loan process from application to funding, and work with Commercial Department management to set appropriate loan structure and pricing.
- Outside Referral Network Development: Establish relationships with relevant outside agents to increase referral business and improve AFCU's visibility and awareness in the local community.
- Portfolio Management: Manage an assigned commercial lending portfolio of 30+ relationships, and continue to act as the relationship point person throughout the loan life cycle.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Lending, including commercial underwriting and credit knowledge.
- Education: Equivalent to a college degree in a related field through education or work experience.
- Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to routine professionalism and tact.
- Other Skills: Must possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate professional business development abilities, and maintain a professional appearance in both dress and attitude.
