EKG Technician

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled EKG Technician to join our team. As an EKG Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating heart and blood vessel ailments. Your responsibilities will include performing routine EKGs and rhythm strips, responding to Stat EKGs, and attending CODE BLUE situations. You will also be responsible for observing and reporting potentially lethal arrhythmias, completing preparation of 12 lead EKG tracings, and charging for tests completed. Additionally, you will edit EKGs interpreted by the cardiologist, prepare holter equipment, and maintain equipment by daily checking, stocking, and cleaning. If you have a high school diploma or equivalent, have successfully completed a basic EKG course and passed the required examination, and are CPR certified, we encourage you to apply.
